Holding tightly to the feet of the Buddha.
And inside the heart I am,
Inquiring the matters of today and the past.
Meant to be together we are not,
Yet you come to disturb me.
Now I am tortured by the lovesickness,
Day and night in pain without stopping.
Writing this lyric makes me understand that there is Good and Evil in
poems, namely the "good poems", and the "evil poems". For every good
poem there is an evil side of it. Take this sentence "The knowledge of
Buddhism is gained, So that the whole world is seen to be tiny". for
example. whilst having the intention of learning the compassion towards
the general folk as the Buddhism promotes, I suddenly get another
line across my mind "Learn not from the knowledge of Buddhism for
seeing the world tiny, just follow me and you will never have the trouble
again". Well, that is truly my judging the broad mind of the Buddha
from my petty perspectives.
